Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model, actress and TV host entrepreneur recording artist has been awarded numerous accolades throughout her career. It includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. In addition, she was nominated for two Gawad Urian Awards and the eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina native to Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who was an Australian lawyer. She was born at Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. The father of her mother was married to Ojales by 1982. Jasmine's younger sister, also an actor and her father is also an actor. Their father's side were half-sisters with a name Clare who passed away in the year 2007 as a result of a coronary illness at the age of four months.
