Alison Pill

Pill began her film career with her first film in Canada however it was a few years later that she made her first appearance in the American film market. Bruce Gray starred on an episode in the Canadian show Traders. Pill scored a spot in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar and "Would Have, Would, and Shoulda". After her role in Picard, Pill appeared in one of the major roles in the well-loved science fiction miniseries Devs (served by the digital production company VFX Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, just like her role in Picard the actress appeared in every episode, playing a very similar part as a scientists "Katie". Similarities between the two series did not stop there. Pill was made aware that the central concept revolves around the preservation consciousness in artificial created creature.
