Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series "Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama as well as Lucy Knight in the medical drama "ER". She is also known for playing the title role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin started her acting career at the age of was seven. Her aunt, who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. After her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the smaller and big screen. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer. As a mother to two kids, she's been named the national spokesperson for Lupus. She has been spreading the word about the disease since her younger sister died due to the disease at 19.
